Youth Climbing Team

The team program is geared toward experienced youth climbers looking to take their climbing game to the next level.  Led by a group of seasoned coaches, team members will use guided training regiments, self-exploration and peer mentoring to navigate the many aspects of training for climbing and maintaining a healthy climbing lifestyle.  Team members will have the opportunity to compete at championship level events, attend team specific training camps, and go on outdoor climbing trips.

This summer we're offering a special performance bouldering camp at the end of July for those kids who want to "up their game" and stay sharp during the off season.

Performance Bouldering Camp
1 week - July 27th - July 31st
Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 12:00PM

You can still build power and strength through the USAC Off Season at Longmont Climbing Collective. This program is being run by Head Performance Coach Chrissy Vadovszki.  In this camp you'll:

  • Learn to optimize your climbing performance through performance tracking and strength assessments
  • Develop mental versatility through growth mindset training and activities
  • Receive expert strength and conditioning coaching with Certified PT, Taylor Rimmer.
  • Top Routesetting with our LCC Routesetters, with bouldering strength-centric and competition movement.
  • Free Unlimited LCC Membership Included
  • USAC Membership Preferred

When the regular season resumes this fall we'll have 3 levels of instruction available:

    • Youth Team (Ages 8-12 / V2-V4) - A great way to introduce your child to competitive climbing, developing more movement and mental skills.
      • Meets Tuesday/Thursday 4:30 - 6:30pm (3 hours weekly)
      • $190/month
    • Advanced Team (Ages 12-19 / V5-V6) - The advanced team is designed for the competitive climber who is looking to learn more advanced climbing skills.
      • Meets Tuesday / Thursday 4:30 -7:00pm (5 hours weekly)
      • $200/month
    • Elite Team (Ages 12-19/V6 and Up) - The Elite team is small, focused and dedicated to being the best they can be. Reaching the next level in leadership and mindfulness to climb their hardest.
      • Meets Tuesday / Thursday 4:30 - 7:00pm (6 hours weekly)
      • $220/month

LCC team members will have full access to the facility plus added perks like team specific training camps and trips, exposure to yoga with Shri Studios instructing at practices, team building and mentorship opportunities, discounts associated with sponsorships and partnerships with local businesses, and much more.
