What I love most about yoga: Yoga is truly a full-being activity that not only saved my spine at a younger age, but also regularly saves my mind both emotionally and mentally.

What I love most about yoga: The movement, the breath and the connection. To drop into the flow and out of ramblings of the mind is a true gift. I am so thankful to share the gift of it with others.

One noteworthy thing about me: I lived in Asia for over 10 years. Japan and South Korea mostly but also traveled around most of S.E. Asia from 2003 – 2015.

What I love most about yoga: I love the feeling of being connected to my body and more aware of how I move through the world because of my yoga practice.

One noteworthy thing about me: I spent every summer at a summer camp in Wisconsin from the ages of 8 -22 years old which along with shaping me as a person, inspired my appreciation for the natural world and all the fun things we can do outside – like climbing!

What I love most about yoga: Yoga has been evolving for thousands of years and can include anything and everything. Morals and ethics, devotional spiritual practice, mind-body connection, and a modern-day physical practice. What I learn on the mat affects my life off the mat and vice versa.

One noteworthy thing about me: I absolutely love to hike and I am planning on hiking the entire Colorado Trail after I finish my graduate degree at Naropa University.

What I love most about yoga: The practice provides personal peace and mental clarity for our minds. Physically it keeps our muscles lengthened and aligned so we can continue to do all the other FUN things we love to do until we are old folks.

One noteworthy thing about me: One of my great uncles was “Johnny Granada.” He was one of the first pony express riders in the state of Colorado.

What I love most about yoga: Learning to use my body as a tool to quiet my mind.

One noteworthy thing about me: I have lived with a rare heart condition since 2015. Sometimes a source of frustration, but it also reminds me the power in slowing down and the importance of having compassion for others.

What I love most about yoga: My favorite thing about yoga is there is no finish line. I love that a practice consistently lends itself to learning new information about myself (mind, body, breath and so on).

One noteworthy thing about me: I have recently gotten comfortable in the kitchen where I enjoy listening to my favorite music or podcasts and trying new recipes.
