Our Mission

Build a supportive community for both new and experienced Climbers by offering fun, engaging and challenging experiences facilitated by a friendly and supportive staff.

Our Vision

Be the premier climbing, fitness, and yoga facility on the front range.

Like you, Longmont Climbing Collective has big dreams! We've been open for a few years and continue to strive to be the central hub for the climbing community here in Longmont by:

  • Offering 15,000 square feet of space with high-quality bouldering and fitness facilities plus training equipment, yoga and other fitness classes.
  • Welcoming the community to use Longmont Climbing Collective as a gathering place for meetups, social gatherings, festivals and special events.
  • Nurturing the next generation of climbers through bouldering instruction, guided courses, outdoor education and programs for people of all ages and ability.
  • Respecting and promoting diversity. Services are available in both English and Spanish.

While we love our current facility, we've got bigger things planned for 2022... But either at our current location or future site, we want Longmont Climbing Collective to be a place to GET FIT! HAVE FUN! MAKE FRIENDS!

We love to talk about our mission and climbing in general so if you've got questions or and idea you'd like to share with us, please contact us [email protected].

Social Mission

The Longmont Climbing Collective’s social mission is to make climbing as a sport more accessible to various backgrounds and abilities. We utilize our collective space to support the diversification of climbing, yoga and fitness. We're proud of our role in the community and we appreciate the support of our members and guests.

Current projects

Boulder County Impact Program
Boulder County IMPACT is a partnership of 11 non-profit government agencies serving the needs of youth and families who are involved with juvenile justice, child welfare, and/or mental health agencies. We work with the IMPACT program to foster success for our community’s youth by utilizing climbing to teach the importance of setting goals, teamwork, and respect for self and others.

Work Exchange Program
Sparked by our involvement in the IMPACT program, we now offer a work exchange program as a way for community members to access a gym membership. We currently have one work exchange role in facility maintenance and hope to expand more positions as the gym grows.

Scholarship Program
We offer full or partial youth program scholarships for those who find themselves in need of financial support. You can find the application for a scholarship here! We apply these to summer camp, recreational programs, and our climbing team.

Future Projects

Community Schools Climbing Programs
We have partnered with the Saint Vrain Valley School District to create and host training for SVVSD Physical Education teachers to learn how to better utilize the climbing walls at their schools. Our training will not only teach the teachers themselves how to climb, but also how to teach their students. We are proud of the successful kid’s programs we have developed at LCC, and we are excited to share our lessons, games, and ideas with the SVVSD.

Spanish Services
Since LCC opened, it’s been our goal to make our gym more accessible for the Spanish-speaking community in Longmont. Using Google Translate, our website is fully translated, and we are working on providing signage in Spanish around the gym, too. In the near future we also plan to run our Intro to Bouldering class and some youth programs in Spanish. If you like climbing, teaching climbing, and are fluent in Spanish, please email us at [email protected]. We’d love to work with you!
